Challenger R/T

With newly-added cold air induction to help improve performance on the standard 5.7L HEMI® V8 engine, horsepower was bumped up to 375hp with 410 lb-ft of torque on manual transmission vehicles.

Challenger R/T's suspension was upgraded for improved handling, and Dodge engineers optimized the brake linings to help reduce stopping distance and improve brake feel.

New for 2011 ? the Super Track Pack with high-performance brakes, suspension and tires is available as an option on the base R/T.

The 392 ci SRT HEMI cranks out 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque thanks to high-flow cylinder heads, SRT specific intake, exhaust manifolds and beefed-up valves that respond to a performance-ground camshaft. It's only fitting that the reinforced block under the hood of the Challenger SRT8 is clad in HEMI Orange from the original paint code.

The 392 ci SRT HEMI mated to a five-speed automatic comes with Fuel Saver Technology for greater efficiency^[1] while at cruising speeds. • Modified shifter rails for improved shiftability and durability
• A less restrictive, high performance exhaust with a unique sporty exhaust note

Hill Start Assist allows the driver time to transition from brake to throttle to achieve a smooth launch on a grade. The system will hold brake pressure for about 2 seconds upon the driver's release of the brake pedal. The system decreases brake pressure in response to increasing throttle to provide a smooth launch.
